Sales Director
Hearty
Job Description
About Hearty Collectives:
- Hearty Collectives helps enterprise companies attract and retain diverse talent through trusted connections. We’re on a mission to fulfill the promise that leading companies have made to their customers, employees, and society.
- Hearty Collectives has partnered with Black Achievers, the country’s largest non-profit network of black professionals, to develop a suite of proven solutions.
- Our team has spent the past several months working with some of the world’s leading companies to develop solutions that fit their growing needs. We have signed and are servicing a group of Founding Partner companies–thus proving our model. Now, we’re ready to scale–with your help.
- You’ll call on DEI and Talent Acquisition teams within enterprise companies to provide a range of solutions to improve the hiring and retention of diverse talent–especially among black professionals.
- The Sales Director will generate new revenue in three key ways: (1) Partner closely with leaders of the Hearty and Black Achievers teams, who are already in warm conversations with clients (e.g. take the handoff); (2) Build relationships with key leaders in local Black Achievers geographic markets; and (3) Conduct new cold and warm outreach, with support from the Hearty Collectives team and software solutions.
- Mid-to-senior level experience selling to enterprise customers. You know how to work with multiple stakeholders over a long period, and can both win and grow business by being a trusted partner.
- Experience working within an early-stage company, on an innovative product, and/or on a small team. You are used to figuring stuff out when needed and don’t require a large support infrastructure.
- Personal experience with the challenges of being an under-represented minority and passion for the cause.
- The stuff of great sellers: High-energy, self-starter, used to carrying a quota and handling rejection. You’re great with follow-ups and getting everything in a CRM.
- Strong references and professional relationships.
- Preferably lives in the Cincinnati area but works at home. In-person meetings at shared office space downtown at least weekly. Some travel is required.
- This is a chance to get in early on something big and meaningful that is already proven and in high demand.
- You’ll get to experience the adventure of an early-stage startup with two leadership teams that have been there before. We’re profitable and have significant upside.
- Have a voice in driving the company's direction as a key business leader.
- Our teams are all about building a positive company culture for the long haul. We have a proven history of building high-performing teams with strong ownership and no B.S.
- Competitive compensation based on a blend of salary and commission
- Health insurance, including vision and dental
- Remote flexibility
- Unlimited PTO
