Cintrifuse’s mission is to lead and accelerate the continued development of Greater Cincinnati as a disruptive, tech-based innovation economy. Our vision is to establish Greater Cincinnati as the #1 start-up hub in the Midwest and among the top innovation hubs in the nation. To do this, we inspire ideas ... empower founders ... lure talent ... and seduce investment ... in ways that make our region a magnet for entrepreneurs and innovators worldwide.
Our work is gaining national recognition. Inc. Magazine touted Cincinnati as the “absolute best model for startup success”. Check out “Inflection Point by Cintrifuse”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=304QB_semmQ&feature=youtu.be.
Cintrifuse’s organization structure is based on the following three strategic legs: Serving and Developing Startups, Managing Innovation Knowledge Transfer between Corporate and Venture Capitalist, and Coordinating and Influencing Ecosystem Stakeholders towards a common agenda. As such, one of the specific roles of the Startup Development & Support leg is to enable the activation, growth, and diversity and density of startups. One of the many tools Cintrifuse has developed to deliver that objective are our top startups ‘to watch’ and ‘up & comers’ lists with the goal of identifying, segmenting, and celebrating high potential startups across Greater Cincinnati.
Cintrifuse is looking for a motivated, proactive and energetic individual to intern with us this summer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a committed and energetic group who are passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. It will not only be challenging and rewarding but will introduce you to the heart of Cincinnati’s entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem.
Reporting to our Senior Procter & Gamble Cintrifuse Executive-in-Resident, this intern position would take ownership of our ‘startup’ lists and partner with Cintrifuse leadership to 1) refine and align on list criteria, 2) help develop and launch a digital ‘yearbook’ of the recognized startups in the form of ‘one page’ pitch documents, and 3) re-establish founder contact within these startups to enable up-to-date insights on how the ecosystem can support their startups. The intended work outcome would be to enable Cintrifuse to identify the greatest needs of our most promising startups in a way that advances their journeys from ‘market entry’ to ‘growth & scale’. This work is critical for Cintrifuse to strengthen its ability to leverage the talent and resources across our broader ecosystem, including the senior leadership across our Cintrifuse Executive Board.
