A Day in the Life –
The Software Developer II position will support a variety of in-house developed and vendor package business applications that are in place to serve our W&S associates and retirees. This position is for a full stack developer responsible for designing and developing solutions to meet business needs, creating and maintaining data integrations across various business applications, and partnering with the HR / Benefits and corporate business areas to test and implement application changes. Skill sets desired include but are not limited to Visual Studio Pro, C# experience, .NET 8, MudBlazor, Entity Framework .NET Core especially LINQ (SQL Server / Oracle), experience in developing design patterns based on Service Based Architecture, experience in developing and consuming REST APIs, CI/CD Devops experience desired, especially TFS. Other desired qualities include strong communication, collaboration skills while working directly with business partners and vendors, troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail. This position is a member of a small application development team supporting a vast number of business applications serving a variety of business processes, serving high-profile business partners who are keenly interested in modernizing our technology footprint. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a fast-paced, multi-faceted, and results driven opportunity.
