Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for sourcing, attracting and screening mid- to high-level field management candidates for placement at locations across the U.S. Consults with senior sales leadership, hiring managers and appropriate human resource managers throughout the selection process. Either manages and/or monitors the presentation, selection, offer, and negotiation process with candidates. Trains and coaches field management and the Agency Talent Acquisition (TA) team in the sourcing and attracting of candidates. Assists field managers in the building of sourcing plans as requested. Assists in the creating, implementing, and monitoring of recruitment strategies to attract diverse and multicultural talent. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible to make an established range of decisions, escalating to manager when necessary.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the selection process to include sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing and hiring high-quality candidates for assigned openings, utilizing recruiting sources, including internet resume searches, social networking sites, and other relative sourcing strategies to attract and select candidates.

  • Develops and coordinates targeted recruiting connections within the community, regional businesses and social media to source candidates. Builds a network of contacts with key professional organizations. Emphasis is on creative sourcing, networking, and contacts with the financial services industry.

  • Stays abreast and capitalizes on trends and opportunities in the financial services industry, such as lay-offs, company closings, or office moves in identifying appropriate candidates.

  • Trains and coaches field management and TA team in sourcing and attracting of candidates. Assists field managers in the building of sourcing plans as requested.

  • Maintains all statistical data associated with the recruitment of open positions, ensuring timely and accurate information and reporting.

  • Updates sales leadership and manager(s) on the status of any openings on a weekly basis or as needed.

  • Assists in the creating, implementing, and monitoring of recruitment strategies to attract diverse and multicultural talent.

  • Performs other duties to support TA initiatives, as assigned.

Selection Criteria:

  • Five or more years of demonstrated experience in successfully identifying and recruiting management level candidates in a high volume recruiting environment.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with various performance metrics associated with recruitment (time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, etc.). Proven ability to appropriately recruit quality candidates.

  • Proven ability in creative sourcing and networking to identify candidates. Strong knowledge, experience and willingness to research new, creative opportunities to source candidates. Knowledge of community/regional area recruiting strategies, organizations, state/local agencies and professional associations.

  • Proven ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management, build positive relationships, and influence from a distance.

  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills for communication to senior sales management and field group as needed.

  • Proven knowledge and awareness of applicable state/federal employment laws, such as Title VII, the ADA and “Ban the Box” laws. Able to recognize whether any questions or concerns should be escalated to management for further guidance.

  • Demonstrated experienced in behavioral interviewing and performing reference and background checks.

  • Proven experience coordinating multiple projects, assignments, or tasks simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Expected to cite examples of organization and time management methods used to manage or prioritize workload demands.

  • Demonstrated ability to be process focused, but must be flexible in the ability to respond to changing business needs and environment.

Work Setting:

  • Works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.

  • Position requires continuous keyboarding work requiring the ability to make repetitive motion of the wrist, hands and/or fingers.

  • Requires visual acuity to read a variety of correspondence, reports and forms. Prepares and analyzes data in an accurate, neat and thorough manner.

  • Requires the ability to express or exchange accurate information easily.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent work experience required.

Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:

  • Proficient knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):

  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM recommended.

Position Demands:

  • Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.

  • Ability to travel as needed.
