Job Description

Green Umbrella has an available opportunity to lead its grant prospecting, writing, and administration. The position will focus on planning and executing our internal grants process by supporting program staff in researching funding opportunities, managing documents and deadlines, leading application writing and submission, tracking results, and more.

The position will:
Be a “team of one,” comfortable with handling strategic and tactical grant functions, including but not limited to grant prospecting, writing, reporting, and tracking.
Project manage and lead holistic grant lifecycles in partnership with the finance and communications teams and program staff.
Maintain and improve internal grant process documents and timelines.
Strategically develop and execute annual grant calendar to align with organization's annual budget.
Lead meetings related to specific funding opportunities; work with program teams to develop partnerships and secure necessary partner materials per application.
Communicate professionally and regularly with funders; act as primary contact for grant-related inquiries.

The successful candidate will have:
Experience in successful grant writing; demonstrated writing, verbal presentation, and analytical skills.
Experience with private, City, State, and Federal proposals.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines.
Proven experience in creatively and successfully researching information regarding new grant prospects.
Experience with grant prospecting software and Google Suite.

Starting pay range of $52,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
