Job Description
The Investment Operations and Billing Associate will have a significant opportunity to learn and grow, gaining cross functional knowledge and training within the Operations department. The role is responsible for supporting the client billing process; handling various functions such as affirming daily trades and setting up new accounts; and becoming a super user in our portfolio management system.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain Addepar billing system, including opening closing and changing accounts.
- Work with Billing Lead to prepare quarterly client invoices.
- Work with the Billing Lead to prepare any quarter end billing reports.
- Assist Billing Lead with all client billing needs and processes.
- Upload invoices/reports to client portal.
- Affirm daily trades.
- Create and maintain portfolio analysis views and reports in Addepar.
- Monitor custodian transactions for accuracy in Addepar.
- Be a member of the New Account team for back up and overflow coverage.
- Become system super user (Addepar).
What you need:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related field.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a financial services/wealth management environment. Experience and knowledge of operations and back-office accounting/billing systems is preferred.
- Strong aptitude and proficiency in technology solutions, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook), portfolio management software, financial/accounting systems, etc. Experience or familiarity with Addepar, Inc. or similar portfolio management software is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with Schwab Advisor Services, Fidelity Wealthscape, or TD Ameritrade Institutional is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with Laserfiche (enterprise content management software) is a plus.
