Job Description
Reports To: Sr Partnership Manager
Status: Full Time (40+ hours)
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Location: Columbus (hybrid work from home and Arena district office)
Travel: 10% locally to offsite meetings and events within Columbus
Overview:
As a Partnership Coordinator with Experience Columbus, you support the plan to generate membership and partnership revenue to meet annual goals for recruitment of member businesses, partners and private sector groups. You will help prospect external partners as well as work closely with internal teams throughout Experience Columbus to plan and execute partner events and fulfill member benefits.
The Work you will do:
- Create tools, reports, and processes to effectively communicate sales and recruitment initiative status
- Coordinate projects for growing and retaining partnerships and increase member engagement in collaboration with teams Partnership Manager
- Communicate with partners for system password access/resets, questions, requests for information
- Work with Partnership Manager to set and achieve goals around monthly/yearly prospecting.
- Coordinate the fulfillment of partner and member benefits including guide listings and digital content as needed
- Support the partnership team on special projects. These may include Gift Guides, Minority Business Program, audits, etc.
- Maintain an understanding of the team’s community partner renewal goals, and strategically supporting to reach those sales goals.
- Work with accounts receivable on 30/60/90 receipts and follow-up with lapsed partners to facilitate payments as needed.
- Responsible for database entry and management in CRM system
- Track and log member inclusion for marketing campaigns in CRM database
- Create and update member and non-member listings in CRM
- Produce, edit and approve member listings for website and for publications (Visitor Guides and Tour Planner Guide)
- Working with marketing team on email and communication needs.
- Responsible for coordinating various yearly partnership events
- Booking and communication with vendors (including venues)
- Sourcing materials needed
- Coordination internally with event team
- Predicting potential obstacles and creating solutions
- Keeping event expenses within allotted budget
- Prep presentation if applicable
- Finding creative solutions for optimizing partner engagement, education, and attendance
- Day-off set-up and tear-down
- Attend Experience Columbus or Sports Commission community and industry functions

Who we are looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience in the following areas below (either through education, work experience or a combination of both):
- Working in a CRM system for data management
- Situation and roles requiring discretion, tact, judgment, and poise
- Experience with the sales cycle: researching, prospecting, presenting and closing
- A self-starter and willing to take initiative
- Effective at communicating with team members, partners at all levels of the organization
- Proficient using of Microsoft Office products and the Internet
- Passionate about the product (Columbus) and motivated to exceed expectations
- Able to be flexible working evenings, weekends for events as necessary

- Familiarity with the Columbus region
- The organization requires all employees to obtain and maintain the Experience Columbus Insider (ECI) accreditation
