Job Description
Northern Kentucky University (NKU) invites applicants for an Assistant Director of Residence Life. The Assistant Director is a 12-month live-on position responsible for sharing in the development and management of the residential life program at Northern Kentucky University.
The Assistant Director is responsible for the development and implementation of learning strategies for both professional and para-professional staff members. This position is intended as a mid-level position for professionals within the Housing and Residence Life profession.
This is a contract, annual 12-month live-on position typically funded for up to four years. Appointments will be made on an annual basis based on continued satisfactory performance.
Qualifications:
A Master’s Degree is required as well as 4 years of relevant work experience and 4 years of management experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, excellent planning, organizational, presentation, programming, supervision, customer service, and human relations skills are required.
