This position sits within our Accounting and Finance division which facilitates day-to-day cash flows of the company, analyzes assets and liabilities, and aids planning for future growth.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Staff Accountant that will be joining a dynamic and highly collaborative Accounting & Finance department. Responsibilities
- Leverage advanced accounting tools and software, providing insightful financial analysis.
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile account balances to support the financial statements.
- Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of reported revenue and deferred revenue.
- Assist in financial statement closing process.
- Identify processes in need of improvement and develop and implement solutions.
- Assist in financial and internal control audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
- Prepare department financials and other reports to support the needs of the management team as requested.
- Assist with state and local tax compliance.
- Provide support on special projects as necessary.

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required OR a minimum of 1 year of experience in public or private accounting.
- Accounting and corporate finance principles, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, analytical, ability to problem solve, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to improving technical skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft 365 products.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plus.
- Progress towards CPA a plus, but not required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
- This position is considered hybrid with a minimum of one day in office each week and occasionally for team meetings and events. Team members are expected to have an established workspace.
