Cincinnati Development Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit lending institution that fills a gap not covered by traditional lenders. CDF provides funding for real estate development in under-served markets in the Greater Cincinnati area as well as facilities and equipment funding for nonprofit organizations in the region.

Company History

Created in 1988 as an independent, not for profit corporation by local bankers and development professionals. Provided banks a cost effective, shared risk method through which to invest in complex community development lending, predominantly for housing development. In 1999, expanded beyond its traditional role as a conduit for local banks, becoming a certified CDFI, CDE and seeking
alternative sources of loan capital.
